Will continue to be our accommodation point in Melbourne despite night 1 hiccup.
Great location inner CBD. Easy walking distance from Spencer St Station. Excellent access to shops, restaurants and Theatres. Our usual destination for accommodation in Melbourne city.
On arrival, initially allocated a room located next to an alley which a separate business uses for long periods of noisy delivery/ pick-up activity in the middle of the night. Issue not experienced in previous stays. Approached reception early next morning, requesting re-location. They arranged quiet room for the remainder of our 4 day stay.

What was the highlight of The Victoria Hotel
Perfect central city location
Location is fantastic, and was the main high point of our stay. We really enjoyed the gym, pool, and sauna, but wished there was a spa. The pool was refreshing, but shallow. Sauna was perfect. Gym was small but adequate.
The wifi was terrible. And I don't just mean in our room. Even in the main lobby, the halls. Everywhere was a very slow connection
